Prevent Clogs and Water Damage with Quality Gutter Covers
Most folks forget about gutters, but they're a huge deal for your house. If they get plugged, it's a disaster, you'll get water damage and critters moving in. If you want your place in Greenfield or Orono to handle the weather, good gutter covers are a must. Think about never having to get up on that shaky ladder again, or wondering if the rain's gonna mess up your foundation. Let's talk about why you need to keep those gutters clear, and how picking the right covers makes a massive difference for your home.
Problems caused by clogged gutters and inadequate covers
Homeowners face a bunch of headaches when gutters get clogged up. Leaves, twigs, and junk pile up, stopping water from flowing. This means gutters overflow when it rains hard.
That extra water does a number on your house's foundation. It can cause cracks and settling, which cost a fortune to fix.
Cheap or bad gutter covers make it worse, because they don't keep stuff out. Then you're stuck cleaning gutters all the time, which nobody likes.
Plus, standing water in those clogged gutters? They're basically a luxury resort for mosquitoes and rats. Seriously, a breeding ground. And yeah, they're not exactly healthy roommates, plus they cause all sorts of extra headaches around your place.
If you just ignore this stuff, you're gonna be looking at some seriously expensive repairs down the line. So, dealing with it now? That's the smart move for keeping your house from falling apart.
Benefits of investing in quality gutter protection
You know, getting those good gutter covers? It's like a real win for anyone with a house. First off, you can basically say goodbye to that whole ladder-climbing, gross-stuff-scooping business. Seriously, you'll be cleaning gutters way less.
And get this – they actually make the rainwater flow way smoother. All that leaf and twig junk? Stay out. Water just runs right through, no problem. That means no more overflowing gutters messing with your foundation or your flowerbeds
Durability is another key benefit. High-quality gutter covers are built to withstand harsh weather conditions in Orono MN. This resilience means fewer replacements over time and more savings in the long run. Additionally, good gutter covers can improve the lifespan of your roofing system. They stop water from sitting on your roof tiles, which, trust me, is a big deal. That standing water? It rots those shingles, and then you've got leaks.
And listen, getting the fancy, high-quality covers? That actually makes your house worth more. People see a clean, well-kept exterior, and they know you're not going to have water problems. It's like, instant peace of mind.
Now, how do you pick the right covers for your house? It's not as hard as it sounds."
Yeah, it can be a headache, but it doesn't have to be. First thing, look at the weather around Greenfield. We get a lot of rain and leaves, so you want covers that can handle both, no problem.
Then, check out your roof. How steep is it? What's the shape? Some covers work great on steep roofs, others are better for flatter ones. You need something that fits your house's quirks.
Material is a big deal too. Stainless steel mesh? That stuff lasts and won't rust. Plastic? It's light, but it might not hold up as long.
And don't forget about how much work they need. Some covers are basically set-it-and-forget-it, which is awesome if you hate chores.
Lastly, think about putting them in yourself, or getting pros to do it. If you're not a fan of heights or climbing on your roof, getting someone else to do it makes sure they're put on right and work like they should.
If you think about all these things, you'll find the perfect gutter covers in Greenfield MN to keep your gutters clear, your house dry, and looking good.

How to Choose the Best Gutter System to Complement Your Roof
When it comes to maintaining the integrity of your home, your roof and gutters work hand in hand. A well-functioning gutter system helps direct water away from your roof and foundation, preventing costly damage. Choosing the right gutter system for your roof can be a daunting task with so many options available. However, with the right knowledge, you can make an informed decision that will help protect your home for years to come. In this blog, we’ll walk you through the factors you should consider when selecting the best gutter system to complement your roof.
1. Understand Your Roof’s Needs
Before you select a gutter system, it’s essential to understand your roof’s needs. The size, slope, and style of your roof all affect the type of gutter system you’ll need.
Roof size: Larger roofs or homes with steep slopes require larger gutters to handle the increased volume of water.
Roof pitch: Steeper roofs may require wider gutters to effectively channel water without overflowing.
Roof style: Different roof designs, such as gable, hip, or flat roofs, may require specific gutter types to match their unique shapes.
Consult with roofing professionals to assess your roof and get recommendations for the best gutter system for your specific needs.
2. Consider Gutter Material
Gutters come in a variety of materials, each with its own set of advantages and disadvantages. Choosing the right material will depend on factors such as climate, budget, and aesthetic preferences. Here are some common gutter materials:
Aluminum: One of the most popular materials, aluminum gutters are lightweight, durable, and resistant to rust. They’re perfect for areas with harsh weather conditions and come in various colors to match your home’s exterior.
Copper: If you’re looking for a premium, aesthetic option, copper gutters are highly durable and can add a classic look to your home. However, copper gutters can be expensive and may require professional installation.
Steel: Steel gutters are strong and able to handle heavy rain, making them ideal for regions with a lot of precipitation. However, they can rust over time if not properly maintained.
Vinyl: Vinyl gutters are a budget-friendly option that’s easy to install. While they are low-maintenance, they may not be as durable as metal gutters in the long run.
Take into account your home’s climate, the longevity of the material, and your desired appearance when choosing the right material for your gutters.
3. Gutter Style: K-Style vs. Half-Round
When it comes to choosing a gutter style, the two most common options are K-style and half-round gutters.
K-Style Gutters: These gutters have a flat back and are more modern in appearance. They are designed to carry more water than half-round gutters, making them ideal for larger homes or regions with heavy rainfall.
Half-Round Gutters: Traditional in appearance, half-round gutters are shaped like a tube and are commonly seen on older homes. They are effective at channeling water but may not hold as much volume as K-style gutters.
The choice between K-style and half-round gutters depends on your home’s aesthetic and the volume of rainwater your gutters will need to handle.
4. Gutter Size
Choosing the correct size gutter is crucial for optimal performance. Gutters come in several sizes, but the two most common sizes for residential homes are:
5-inch gutters: These are the standard size and are suitable for most homes with a typical roof size and moderate rainfall.
6-inch gutters: These larger gutters are ideal for homes with steep roofs, larger roof areas, or those located in regions with heavy rainfall.
If you’re unsure about what size gutters your home needs, a professional roofing or gutter installation company can help assess your property and recommend the right size.

[RE4] Kinktober Day 11: "In Heat"
Summary: Livestock guardians were rare enough, and training them was no easy feat either. But...being in a bind, you decided to take your chances and adopt one! Only, you weren't warned that his heats would be so...intense.
Warning(s): Perv!Reader (She watches Leon fuck his pillow), Yearning(Leon wishes to fuck the reader but doesn't), Dog!Hyrbid Leon, Whiny! Leon, Begging, Masturbation (Both on the reader's and Leon's side obv), Thigh-fucking, Leon low-key being a horn dog.
Side Note(s): Lol I was going to do Lycaon (again) from ZZZ but— the fact I haven't dedicated any Kinktober days to my favorite baddie Leon Kennedy yet is blasphemous, so here I am <33
Searching for a good livestock guardian dog was hard.
Costs aside, training them and getting them used to the farm animals was no easy task. It took a lot of patience and practice over the years and even then? The dog wasn't promised to be absolutely perfect! In hindsight though, you knew you should've been on the lookout the second you had begun buying the necessary resources for your farm. After all, it seemed like just yesterday when you were still waiting for your house to be built, and now? You were only a month away from moving!
The clock was ticking, you needed a guardian dog and you needed one now. No training required.
Which was how you ended up where you are today, at a dog hybrid adoption center, located in the center of your small town. It was a homey place, plenty of space for the hybrids to wander around, and even a dedicated meeting area for them and their potential owners to get to know one another. At first, you felt almost...strange, for considering a hybrid for your farm.
They were called "hybrids" for a reason. They were human but...with animal features and some tendencies here and there, you probably wouldn't even have been here today if your friend hadn't convinced you to at least check it out and so far? You were having no more luck than you were shopping the market for a traditional dog.
"Do you have any hybrids that are good with livestock? Guarding, maybe?" You asked the front desk worker after another conversation with a hybrid cut short.
You weren't searching for a puppy, they had too much energy and you were certain that wouldn't bode well with the animals! An older dog would have been preferable. "Still no luck?" The woman said with an apologetic smile as she searched through the system.
You shook your head with a sigh. "I'm moving in a month, I want to hopefully find a dog today and bring him home soon so I can get him or her used to me."
The woman didn't respond for a beat or two, her eyes narrowed in focus as she searched and searched...until her eyes brightened and she turned the computer screen towards you. "Leon may be a good fit for you! His background is in government, very calm and dependable." As you looked at the picture, you were shocked that no one had picked him yet. good traits aside, he was handsome and you knew that there was a market for people who preferred to use their hybrids for lovers rather than pets.
Not that you planned to use him in that way of course.
"Is he available to talk now?" You asked.
"He will be tomorrow! We try to give our shyer residents more time to know when they want to be spoken to."
You nodded your head in understanding as the worker passed you a few documents to sign as well as choosing a time when you wanted to talk. You suddenly felt nervous, intimidated even! When you looked at Leon Kennedy's profile, he appeared dangerous and you weren't just talking about the deadly scowl on his face nor the fact that he was a Malinois hybrid. His eyes were a deep baby blue, combined with his dirty blonde hair and his hardened features as well as his muscular frame.
You weren't able to deny that he was handsome.
But...you could worry about keeping your mind out of the gutter once you talked with him.
. . .
The next day came by quick. The second you woke up, you were already getting ready to meet with your potential hybrid and you wanted to make a good first impression! You donned a cute but professional style and even took the time to bring gifts as well as had photos of your current apartment and new home already saved to your phone. You wanted to make sure all your cards lined up to having Leon accept you as his owner.
And...you thought you were doing good so far, hopefully. As you currently sat in front of him, his expression was unreadable as his eyes flicked from the photos of your home that you had given him as well as the treat basket you brought along with you.
"You want me as a livestock guardian?" He questioned.
"Yes!" You chirped. "The animals aren't there yet but they will be pretty soon, about a week or two after I move in."
When he didn't respond, you added on a question. "Are you...good with livestock?"
He slowly nodded his head. "I can learn, it can't be any harder than guarding people."
"Your profile mentioned you were in the government. What did you do?"
"Classified missions." He curtly responded.
"...Like?"
He scoffed at your pushiness. "The word classified is there for a reason."
"Seeing as you're still so loyal, you must've been a good one." You complimented. You tried to withhold a chuckle at the sound of Leon's tail thumping against his chair. "Why did you leave?"
"I—" You tilted your head when he paused, the sight of his cheeks beginning to tint pink a little also making your suspicions go up before his shoulders eventually slumped and he sighed. "It's not important, I was simply no longer fit for the missions they were assigning me." His ears flattened at the memory of him being dismissed. For the last few years since that day, he tried to convince himself that it was for the best but...he was used to being active, constantly on the move and doing things. Trading that lifestyle for a quiet and inactive one here in the shelter?
Although the place was nice, it wasn't for him!
Life on a farm could give him some movement, some purpose again.
"Well, I think you'll be a perfect fit for my farm! If you want to actually come with me that is."
Leon looked you up and down, you appeared hard-working and stern. But kind and gentle, it also helped that you were a pretty thing to look at. After being in the government for so long, so many missions where he'd seen the most unimaginable horrors that no normal person should ever see...it was nice to know that he'd be able to look at you all day, working for you.
So, he nodded his head, his tail once again beginning to wag at the sight of your smile.
You grinned. "We'll get along just fine, you and me!"
. . .
And get along fine, the both of you did.
It turns out that there was a reason why Leon wasn't adopted. His ruts were insatiable.
A week after adopting him, you and he had spent the entire time decorating the room you had dedicated to him! You had learned that before he worked for the government, he used to be a guard cop (the puppy photos he had shown you were absolutely adorable might you add) and he was a fan of old-school music groups. You had struck gold with him, you thought. He was a hard worker and was relatively quiet! Although his jokes were a little dry and he had so many cop one-liners that you couldn't even begin to count them all.
You liked Leon.
And that like towards him...you wouldn't deny that it began to inch towards a more romantic direction, especially after what you were currently witnessing tonight.
"F-Fuck..." Through the crack of Leon's door, he was currently rutting against his pillow feverishly. It was bunched up underneath him, his claws threatening to tear the sheets underneath him with how hard he was rutting his dick back and forth on the pillow.
You should've turned away, you should've ignored that ache that started to build up in the pit of your stomach. It was inappropriate of you to watch him like some type of pervert! And you almost did until...you heard your name. "Y-Y/N..." Leon panted out, you could see the light of the moon shine on the hint of drool that began to dribble out the side of his mouth. He sucked in his bottom lip as he threw his head back with a low growl. "Fucking cute owner..." He whined. "I-If only you would help me..." His words were so whispered that you almost missed it.
The ache in your panties was growing near unbearable, and even as every rational part of your brain told you to keep your hand away from your throbbing clit, to go back to bed and act like you hadn't seen or heard anything. You continued to stay, soon clasping a hand around your mouth in order to withhold the moan that threatened to escape from your lips. Especially as your fingers began to circle around your clit, the aching growing more and more by the second as you continued to listen in on Leon's moans.
"Fucking hell—" Suddenly Leon pushed the pillow away from him before he sat on the bed, his hand quickly rushing to his cock as he started to fist his length, the slick sounds of his hand moving along his cock aiding in your own masturbation as you began to finger yourself to the pace of his hand movements.
And in the process, you imagined what his cock would feel like inside your sex. You imagined the veins along his cock rubbing against your inner walls, the sound of his rough growls against your ear whilst the lewd sounds of his pelvis meeting your ass rang throughout the air. "Y' like that owner?" You heard Leon mutter to himself before his curses steadily turned into moans.
You could tell he was close by the way he began to buck into his own hand, causing you to speed up your own ministrations as it quickly became a struggle to withhold your moans. Until a squeak accidentally escaped your lips, and Leon's ear flicked to the door before his pants began to slowly come to a stop.
Yet his hand didn't. "Naughty girl..." Leon said in your direction.
You quickly tore your hand from your underwear with a gasp, but before you could walk away. Leon stopped you with a sharp growl. "Leaving so soon after watching me fuck my own hand? And while you were flicking your clit." He snapped. "Get in here and help me out!" He ordered.
You hesitated for another moment or two before you slowly inched the door open with an embarrassed blush on your face. However, your hybrid had little concern for your embarrassment at the moment before he suddenly rose to his feet and grabbed ahold of your arm, and forced you to sit on the bed. His eyes were trained on you as he then pushed you gently to lay on your back whilst he lifted your legs.
You softly moaned at the feeling of his hard cock pressing against your ass briefly before he took your chin into his hand. "...Can I?"
You heard the desperation in his voice and how hard he was trying to reel it in. "I just wanna fuck your thighs, promise. Nothing else, just that." He assured you, his hips unconsciously bucking against the back of your thighs. And the second you nodded your head "yes", he let out a deep moan when he finally pushed himself between your plush thighs. "Been thinkin' 'bout this for a week..." He began to babble.
"You and this sexy body," He moaned. "Made my rut come early..." You whined when his hand began to feel up and down your body, all before his hand began to rub at your clit. "Clearly you've been thinkin' about me too, huh?"
You nodded shamelessly. "T-Tried not to..." You admitted with a whisper. "Didn't—oh...—want to make you uncomfortable..."
"With having a slutty owner who likes the idea of her personal dog fucking her needy cunt? Oh no baby, quite the opposite..." Then he leaned down to press his soft lips against your own, the feeling of your lips on his own after so many previous nights of imagining them on his cock...he couldn't help but begin to fuck your thighs with more fervor. "Couldn't get you out of my mind." He mumbled against your lips.
Leon's other large hand then left your waist to begin fondling your breasts, taking more care to give one of them more attention than the other as he began to flick your nipple. Leon's body was practically molding with your own body as he continued to kiss you, his technique becoming more sloppy along with his thrusts. "C-Close..." He whispered, tearing his lips from your own when you lightly smacked him for air.
You moaned. "M-Me too." You responded, a needy whine leaving your lips when he began to speed up his rapid flicking of your clit. Your increased moans and whines were going straight to his cock, nothing but lust and adoration for you as both his owner and the woman he now wanted to breed coursing through his veins as he felt your pussy twitch as his cock rubbed against it. "Cumming!" You just barely managed to get out before your eyes slammed shut and your mouth opened in a silent scream.
Leon wasn't too far behind as a string of curses fell from his lips, his hips bucking against your ass a few more times before he stilled and you felt strings of his hot cum shoot out and onto your stomach and chest. The two of you breathed heavily, the lust in the air hot and unignorable as you both came down from your highs. With a shakey moan, however, Leon slipped from your thighs as he looked over you.
Already he could feel himself getting hard. Something that you quickly took notice of. "A-Already...?" You said tiredly.
He nodded his head, his tail beginning to wag eagerly as he gently began to part your legs. "You're the reason why my rut started early...take responsibility."
It seemed you were in for an even longer night further taking care of your new hybrid...

How do you think omen culture is like in the sewers? Family unit structure, belief systems, way of life (aside from How Shitty it was), interactions with wraiths and guards, etc
I’m so happy I got an ask like this even if it’s taken me ages to answer it!
I will begin by admitting that I think fandom as a whole tends to depict the Omen as very ‘animal’. I also do this- I love making the Twins a little more creature. But it does inevitably seep into how the Omen of the Shunning Grounds as a whole are depicted. The great tragedy of the SG is that the Omen are human beings. Their oppression is a horror, but in writing the Omen as beastly in nature, it’s almost like a concession that the Graceborn people were right: the Omen are fundamentally inhuman.
That being said, I think it’s better to highlight the humanity of the Omen of the Shunning Grounds. It’s important to consider that they likely had a society/community.
One thing that I genuinely believe is that there was some ‘osmosis’ between the sewers and Leyndell. Meaning, I don’t think the SG were wholly cut off from Graced people. There is an item that says that the SG were a secret to everyone (except, presumably, the nobility with Omen children). But I find it hard to believe. In the cut Shanehaight quest, he says people can just hear the Omen crying and moaning. If babies and children were cast in the SG, then they’d need to be fitted with their shackles as they grew up. There were Perfumers like Tricia that felt called to help them. Likely knights and soldiers that had to interact with the Omen. I sincerely believe there were families that visited their exiled relatives.
All that to say that non-Omen people likely had semi-regular contact with the Omen. For good or ill. Thus, I don't necessarily believe that Morgott was unique in revering the Erdtree. It is inevitable as Leyndell culture suffuses the SG. And I don't really think the Omen are being taught the 'truth' of the Erdtree's primordial form as the Crucible. Faith in Queen Marika's Order is widespread in the SG as the overwhelmingly predominant faith aboveground. Additionally, I don't believe Mohg was the sole worshipper of the Formless Mother. He was favored as a Demigod Prince, perhaps, but I could imagine his cult began in the Shunning Grounds proper amongst the Omen.
It is very difficult to imagine what their material lives and familial lives are like. Despite my assumed interactions with the surface, I don't feel they were ever sufficiently cared for. The Omen had to make do with scraps and detritus. Probably building 'DS2 Gutter-esque' communities where possible. Omen language is likely a mix of 90% the predominant Leyndell speech mixed with naturally developing Omen dialects over the centuries. I imagine they learned to read off of discarded books (or donated- often of a religious nature) and learned to speak from one another- as well as by listening to conversations through sewer grates. I think the trope of the animalistic grunting non-verbal Omen is not the best. They have animal traits, so animal communication is natural imo (purring/growling/baring teeth/etc). But I don't buy the idea that many, many Omen simply could not learn how to speak language at all.
As far as family structures go, I feel this varies considerably! I don't actually think all that many children are abandoned to their own devices! Omen aren't sexless beings. They begin their own families naturally and they adopt foundlings and abandoned infants. Disease and hunger and violence inflicted upon them from the 'blessed' people harm and kill more Omen children than other Omen do. But children can lose their guardians/parents to sickness (etc) and may struggle to be adopted by other Omen families if they themselves are struggling.
I hope I'm expressing myself well enough. I just don't think the SG was entirely a bestial, violent 'survival of the fittest' hell pit 100% of the time. The impossible resource scarcity and the intense trauma can cause instances of extreme isolationism between close-knit families and individuals who will defend their resources to the death. But there is definitely community. Because Omen are people in the end. They would do their best to care for their weakest and most vulnerable.
It's still a hard and lonely life. Rats, bats, crayfish, and refuse constituted much of their diet. They could probably collect seeds from trashed produce but farming much more than fungus and moss was a rare skill. Hunting is common for individuals and smaller families, but larger communities had the man power and space to have small farms and livestock from sewer dwelling animals.
I'll add more to this as I think about it! But for now I'll simply post. TLDR, It's fun to imagine Omen as grumpy cat-like people, but they are human beings trying to survive and help one another in a hellish and torturous environment.

Batman '57: The Justice System Works Fast In Gotham
This is Detective Comics #249, and I'm torn because I'm against execution, but then Bruce Wayne is a billionaire so I guess it evens out. Welcome to the Gutters.

The best part about comic book covers from this era is how they mastered the "I bet you're wondering how I got myself in this situation..." feel. I bet if you flip the pages it makes a record needle scratch. This one is a doozy, folks, strap yourself in. It starts when Batman and Robin are failing to catch a villain named "The Collector," a bad guy so lame that his only gimmick is that he steals stuff. The next day, Commissioner Gordon asks Bruce Wayne - not Batman, Bruce Wayne - to go undercover in Gotham Prison to catch a man named Squint, who has smuggled in a copy of the blueprints and is going to Prison Break a prison break.
Bruce Wayne agrees to this, and they smuggle him in there in the best and most sense-making way - by having him convicted of being the Collector in a court of law. They go so far as to plant evidence in Wayne Manor. Bruce Wayne agreed to have cops searching all over Wayne Manor, the place where he keeps his Batman stuff. Naturally nobody sees anything out of the ordinary about a rich industrialist being so willing to go to trial and sentenced to prison.
Bruce is easily able to trick Squint into giving up the location of his plans and tries to call the guards. There's a scuffle, and Squint slips on some soap bubbles and fucking dies. The other prisoners snitch on Bruce, and he gets tried for murder and sentenced to death completely off-panel. Bruce tries to protest that this was an undercover operation and Commissioner Gordon is in on it, but it turns out that Gordon fell into a coma at some point.
Robin teams up with Batwoman to try and clear Bruce's name by arresting the real Collector. Batwoman asks exactly one question as to why Batman isn't there to help Robin and then immediately accepts the premise of the story. They are so bad at their jobs that they don't even make any real progress on the case until Bruce Wayne literally has 24 hours to live, and even then they only find out that their suspect is going bald. I want to mention that this is one of five Batman stories published this month and this one takes so long that Bruce Wayne was tried, convicted, and sentenced twice.
At the end, Robin and Batwoman burst into the prison with the real Collector just as Batman is literal feet away from the execution chamber. The Warden unilaterally decides to call the whole thing off. Now. Those of you who've played Phoenix Wright should know that this actually solves nothing.
Bruce Wayne was legally convicted of being the Collector. Even if this new guy is the real Collector, they would still have to prove that in court and overturn Bruce's conviction, which could take months, if not years, and the whole false evidence and police corruption thing is its own barrel of worms. But Squint still died. Like, that's a separate thing that has no bearing on him being the Collector or not. He was tried and found guilty of that as well, and that has the same issues.
The only thing I can think of is that Bruce Wayne waited until after he had had his last mean to use any of his wealth and influence to get him out of this situation. Like he didn't even try to appeal. He was ready to go to the chair for an accidental killing that he didn't even do. That part is in character for Batman, but I can't see how he would just flash the get out of jail free card like that. And Commissioner Gordon is still in his coma!
One of the idiosyncrasies of this period in comics is that supervillains don't show up very often. In Batman comics, at least, it would stay that way into the 70s, with ordinary criminals showing up as often as his famous rogues, if not moreso. Batman #110 features one of those few and far-between appearances by the Joker, and it's honestly a pretty good scheme. Rather than actually executing his crazy heists, he just auctions them off to other mobsters and has them do all the dirty work. It's actually pretty brilliant. I wish this one had been made into an episode of the Animated Series just to hear Mark Hamill's Joker as an auctioneer.
The only problem with this scheme is that it falls into Riddler Syndrome - Joker just can't resist creating obvious patterns for all his crimes. Although it's only obvious in the Adam West logic. There's a crime about March winds, April Fool's and May flowers, which leads them to think the next crime will be centered around June, and just stake out all the June things until the crime happens. The Joker at this point hadn't really solidified into his character at this point. The Riddler barely appeared in comics before the 60s Batman made him into a headliner because he and Joker were basically the same guy.
Commissioner Gordon is still in a coma, by the way.
Batman #110 has another good story that allows us to talk about the greatest character in the whole Batman mythos: Alfred Pennyworth. In the Golden Age, Batman's butler was Alfred Beagle, who was a portly, buffoonish figure who imposed himself onto Batman and Robin and bumbled into their secret identity. This version completely upends that characterization. While he doesn't have the contemporary version's background in espionage, just the fact that he applied for the job like a normal person is already an improvement.
While he was getting used to the job, Alfred is approached by a suspicious figure named Mr. Noyes, who offers to bribe him for information on Bruce Wayne. Alfred rather pointedly tells him where to shove it. Soon after, Bruce Wayne takes Alfred into his confidence and reveals his identity as Batman. What follows are the kind of "hide the secret identity" shenanigans that come up every other issue - mannequins, convenient blackouts, old British men dressing up as Batman - but it's a lot more charming here because Alfred isn't a superhero. He's just an old man who buttles and can't just punch his way out of situations.
Throughout it all, Alfred is worried that he's somehow let Mr. Noyes in on the secret, and the story is framed as Alfred writing a resignation letter after seemingly allowing Noyes to discover the Batcave. Of course, Noyes was Batman the whole time, one of his underworld disguises he uses. The whole thing was just a wacky misunderstanding! Womp womp! Commissioner Gordon's in a coma!
Feeling better about the process. I've started researching these things in advance instead of having to blow through 20 issues of comics in one sitting while writing these. It actually lets me know what's coming next time. Speaking of, next time we look at a fun Superman story that accidentally invalidates the existence of Wonder Woman. Whoopsie! Until next time!

I have the image of the Fusion cannon wedding of Tarn and the Nurse witnessed by not just the DJD but Decepticon HC, Soundwave with Cassettes, the Comand Trine, Deadlock, Deathsarus, etc. Tarn's high enough ranked the rest on the Nemisis are coming in for it. During the lead up to the ceremony while Tarn and the nurse are painting each other up it's super akward and high tension.
And the only ones oblivious are Deathsarus and Skywarp who risking life and limb to fuss over the newsparks. Tense Posturing and veiled threats broken by Deathsarus' "Who's a pretty bitty? Who's a pretty bitty? You're a pretty bitty. Yes, you are." And Skywarp's "Awww look little guy has his pede in his mouth! Come on Soundwave you gota catch this for posterity!"
:: You think they're clanging right now? ::
Helex spoke in the shared internal channel as the Justice Division, missing their leader, stood at attention at the Altar. Tarn had disappeared behind the side door to the private room.
Helex wisely left Tarn out of this conversation, and Kaon didn't loop their Commander into it.
As in, the private room with no windows and a closed ventilation system because more than one Conjux-to-be attempted one last-ditch futile run before getting dragged to the terribly named Love Chapel.
Vos responded, and the many layered tones flood the channel in an easy flow of lyrical noise. Almost a million years, and it was still hard to identify certain glyphs, but the lecherous tones were unmistakable.
:: Don't be crude. :: Kaon cut into it, and Vos twitched, his side spasmed from the subtle release of an electrical surge.
Of course, ever the sadomasochist, Vos purred, and deliberately opened seams for the attack to flood his protoform.
Nickel smacked knee guards. :: Knock it off, you lot! The big boss is watching. ::
True enough, Megatron, along with Soundwave, was watching their byplay, but it wasn't Lord Megatron of the Decepticons. With the bright fuscia facial markings carving down his cheeks and neck and helmet done away, a relic of a sword on his hip, a scroll in one hand, and a chisel in the other along with those panels furled toward the sun. Megatron stood dressed in the greatest of authorities bestowed outside of a championed Prime: High Priest of the Fallen, Speaker of the Shadow, the Voice of Megstronus Prime, the Prime of Chaos; He who was the spark-twin to Prima's Light, and bonded to Solus' Creation.
Lord Megatron was the only one who could be adorned in the sacred trinity of Rule and Bindings. Not even Optimus, the current Prime, was allowed to utilize this particular trio. The honor solely belonged to Chaos' Chosen.
Suddenly, the main doors were kicked in by a purple and black pede, thruster-heel guttering-
:: Which one of you stripped-geared slaggers locked the fucking door!? :: Kaon shrieked as the Justice Division inwardly grimaced as negatives flooded the comm channel.
Unlike Light and His cloistered, shiny temples, the Shadow was in one and all for everything fell in His Domain from the highest peaks of the Manganese Mountains to the depths of the Rust Sea to the churning slag of Cybertron's forge-core; all lingered in the Great Shadow.
Megatronus claimed Solus in the open. Unrepentant and unshamed to bind them together, and His followers were the same. It didn't matter the location nor the mechs' statuses, His High Priests officiated conjugal bindings the same, standing as a divine witness to the bonding and divine judge to any Challenges at the site.
"I told you it was true!" Skywarp howled with delight as the Command Trine made their way to the steps down to the loosely packed gravel, an ode to their deities' far more wilder natures when the Thirteen walked the still new planet and shaped Cybertron for their mortal kin and kith to survive and thrive.
Thundercracker quirked an optic-ridge at the newest 'lucky groom,' and Starscream gave the thoughts life as the Air Commander said, "I still can't believe it's Tarn out of you sorry lot."
"Starscream," came the warning from the High Priest over the ominous noise of a burbling sink and clacking blades.
Starscream frowned, lips pulling a near-sneer, but he acquiesced to the rebuke. It was one thing for the SIC to argue with Decepticon Warlord, but it was another matter when High Priest Megatron was steeped in Rule and Bindings upon the Altar.
:: He may be a near treacherous glitch, but Screamer's right. I thought we would stand here for Helex or Vos. :: Tesarus commented.
The gunformer shrugged. They all knew his violent delights. Helex, however, scoffed. :: I make sure my baffles are up-to-date, and just because I have an in-built smelting pool that doesn't mean I fuck with my chassis wide open! ::
Nickel audibly snorted, a strange mix of contempt and amusement, as she pinched a wire behind Helex's kneecap. The mech grunted as that leg went numb. :: I'm the one that hounded each of you to get updated. Made sure it's substantially far more capable at handling the completed charge of a combiner orgy. I don't want to vacuum out another spark chamber any time soon. ::
The medic's words sank into the Justice Division about the ridiculously high spark compatability between Tarn and you. The surprise shocked Tesarus into speaking, "Are you saying that those-"
The door the side room opened, and no one expected the soon-to-be-bonded couple to walk out of it with fresh Energon dripping upon them. Tarn had artful, whorls of blue flames, whereas you carried jagged, pink angles and peaks.
"Bitties!" Skywarp immediately teleported to get close to the cradle-pod of sleepy and well-feed meeps and squeaks to properly coo at them.
You immediately pulled the bitties to the side, those doorwings flicked back, hitched up, and you looked like you were about to fist-fight the Seeker right then and there. Bets were being made on the outcome before Tarn, ever the spoiler, intervened by his sheer bulk. He deftly slid between you and Skywarp, who still held his hand out as if to tickle the soft protoform-like armor of the newsparks from the short distance.
You hissed, something guttural and sharp that clawed nails across their senses, your armature clacking in warning, but Skywarp switched his focus. Optics brightening, wingspan perked, and Tarn stilled-
Skywarp was then hauled away by Thundercracker grabbing a wing, sinking talons into it to puncture the metal.
Thundercracker's expression was cold, projecting apologies-rebuke as he forcibly dragged Skywarp back to position.
You elbowed Tarn's side, whispering something, and the mech uncharacteristically huffed. He placed a hand at your lower back and guided you to High Priest Megatron with the cradle-pod floating its way to Kaon's side. The Pet poked its head into it, indulgent in its allowance for repeated ear-yanking and nose-bopping.
:: The Pet is to bite anyone that attempts unauthorized touching. :: Tarn's cultured voice spoke in the channel. :: Consider any approach to them outside of Justice Division as a breech of conduct to maim, not Listed. ::
Skywarp seemed jittery, bleeding as Thundercracker refused to let go. Starscream was indifferent. Only there as it was a commissioned officer of a special tasks force under Megatron's direct purview.
Starscream and his trine, along with Soundwave with a freshly-welded Ravage, were the only ones available to witness the event as the Decepticon Armada was constantly in motion to ensure the Autobots wouldn't have an ensured victory with the entire structure of High Command in the same ship.
Unlike before, your deep bow, kneeling before Megatron, didn't phase anyone as the High Priest must engrave the intendeds' frames: a blend of their glyphs or a matched pattern in the open and made by a specialized chisel only known to their order to ensure it rejected fillings and disrupted repair nanites.
The question about an eventual divorce and the betting ring went up in flames by your insistence at having it carved at the support arches of your sensory panels...
And Tarn didn't deny you.

Why a Custom Gutter System Saved Sarah’s Home from Water Damage?

In Roselle, IL, Sarah had been facing ongoing issues with her gutters, especially during heavy rainstorms. Water would overflow and seep into the foundation of her home, causing potential damage. After searching for a solution, she found Timberleaf Gutters, a trusted local company specializing in custom gutter systems designed to keep homes protected and dry.
During her consultation, the Timberleaf team recommended installing Five Inch Seamless Gutters to give her home a sleek, modern look. These seamless gutters would not only enhance the curb appeal of her property but also reduce the chances of leaks and other maintenance issues. Sarah was relieved to find a long-term solution that would last for years.
As they continued their assessment, the Timberleaf experts suggested upgrading to Six Inch Oversized Gutters to ensure proper water flow during the heaviest storms. This larger size would handle more rain and prevent overflow, which was especially important for Sarah's large roof and steep pitch. With the added capacity, she knew her home would be safe no matter the weather.
To top off the installation, Timberleaf also recommended gutter protectors. These would keep leaves and debris out of the gutters, reducing the need for constant cleaning. With her new, efficient gutter system in place, Sarah felt confident that her home was well-protected, thanks to the expert team at Timberleaf Gutters.
